Valkyria Chronicles 2 - My most anticipated game

I’ve just finished compiling my list of games to buy, with some being released this year, some without release dates, and some I’m not even sure will be localized. A few on the list are other genres, but it’s clear to me that this is a year for RPGs. Ignoring all the games that are yet to be confirmed for a U.S. release and even those without release dates, that’s still an impressive list for the first half of the year. Who knows how many more will be added to the list as the year goes on. One thing’s for sure — I need to find some more work to be able to afford all of these.

I'll destroy you! All of you!

Of my 446 games, I’ve yet to beat 283 of them. So I made a New Year’s resolution to complete at least half of the games I own by the end of the year. Much easier said than done, especially since I’ll probably add 100+ more games to my collection by the end of this year as I did the last.

I challenged a friend to see who could beat the most games by the end of the year. Then another friend I was talking about it to wanted to join as well. So I’m competing with two of my friends in separate competitions. Maybe this will motivate me to attack my massive backlog. I’ll be keeping track of my progress at my backloggery, though any games listed on the 1st don’t count. That was just me updating all the games I didn’t get around to last year. The first game I’ve beaten this year is Advance Wars: Dual Strike, on the 4th of January.

Now, let’s see how many games I can get through this year!
